What to specify before requesting a quote

Hookah requirements

Describe your heat-management setup and required briquette shape, dimensions and unit weight. Define how you will evaluate ignition, heat output, handling and ash during a sample trial.

BBQ requirements

State the intended appliance and cooking use, plus preferred briquette size and packing. Agree a suitable application trial rather than assuming hookah and BBQ grades are interchangeable.

Comparable quality evidence

Request the proposed composition and binder declaration, product specification and lot test results. State required limits and test methods for moisture, ash, fixed carbon or other acceptance criteria.

Your enquiry checklist

Reference information for preparing an enquiry. Product specification, suitability, origin, packing and commercial terms require written confirmation for the proposed supply. Published guides do not replace a current technical data sheet or lot-specific certificate of analysis.

Before you approve a product

Can a product photo confirm ash or burn performance?

No. Agree the test method and conditions, review the proposed lot results and evaluate a sample against your acceptance criteria. Do not infer composition or performance from shape alone.

Does a charcoal grade establish shipping suitability?

No. Request the applicable transport classification and supporting documents for the proposed product, route and carrier. Confirm shipping requirements before accepting a shipment arrangement.
